Ronald McDonald House Charities^® of Greater Washington, DC eases the hardship of children’s illness on families through programs that directly improve the health and wellbeing of children. The Red Shoe 5k Run and Walk is our only annual event held to raise critical funding for our programs and the families that we serve.

This year we hosted our first ever hybrid event to give our community a safe way to come together, show support for our families, and have fun! We had runners and walkers join us at Bull Run Park on Oct. 3 and across the country virtually from Sept. 26 – Oct. 2.
